Fabolous To Release Autobiographical Film Along With New Album "Loso's Way" On June 30

The rapper Fabolous has never really been one to show his personal side, but according to a press release, he will do just that on June 30 when he releases what the label is dubbing as his "autobiographical" album. "Loso's Way" is Fab's 17-track offering, lyrically chronicling the Desert Storm/Def Jam artist's rise to fame.

Fabolous is also releasing a 30-minute film to accompany the album, which will be Fab's first long-form video project. In an interview with SOHH.com, Fab says he was inspired by the ever-so-popular-amongst-rap-artists film, Carlito's Way. "Carlito was a street dude, trying to make the transition from the streets to something better," he said. "That's where I felt I was at...transitioning from the streets to a hip-hop artist."

The album features production by Streetrunner, Justice League, Tricky, Sean C. and L.V., and Jermaine Dupri. "Loso's Way" is also loaded with guest appearances. Fab enlists the help of Jay-Z, Keri Hilson, Jeremih, Ne-Yo, and Trey Songz, among others.

"Loso's Way" will be Fab's fifth album, since he debuted in the rap game back in 2001 with the certified-platinum, "Ghetto Fabolous."
